Glenn David Young, 80, of Gordonville, Texas was called to his eternal home on Wednesday, December 25, 2024

Glenn was born on January 7, 1944 in Pomona, California to Sidney and Inda (Ranne) Young. He graduated from Ganesha High School in Pomona, California. 

Glenn was a self-employed builder, who owned and operated his own metal building company. He was the chairman of the Loomis Egg Plant Festival for many years. Glenn enjoyed woodworking and fishing, and he loved his family tremendously, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his partner, Ruby Reeve of Gordonville; son, Glenn Young II and wife, Nikki of Colfax, CA; daughter, Debbie Barri and husband, Jim of Folsom, CA; grandchildren, Shelby Crawford, Austin Young, and Dylan Barri, brother, Carl Young, and niece, Lisa Hunkins.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Inda Young, and brother, Gene Young.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
