Tonya Leeann Gaddie
Tonya Leeann Gaddie, born on Nov. 8, 1981, in Gainesville, Texas, passed away on Oct. 10, 2024, in Whitesboro, Texas. Known for her selflessness and a heart of gold, Tonya cherished spending time with her nieces and nephews, who affectionately called her ‘Yaya’.
She was never afraid to speak her mind and enjoyed the company of her friends, as well as her interests in Juggalo culture, 99 Bananas, and anything adorned with skulls.
Tonya loved driving out to the lake and spending entire days there. Despite facing challenges in life, she persevered with an open heart, always seeking love and connection.
Born with a hearing problem, she was proficient in sign language and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in nursing homes for several years. Tonya also had a passion for drawing and, although she moved a few times, she always returned to her beloved Whitesboro.
She is survived by her mother, Loraine Robledo, and her husband Israel; her sisters, Keesha Gaddie and partner Armando Dehoyos, Lynsi Harrison and spouse Aaron Harrison and Maekayla Gaddie; her brother, Rusty Gaddie and spouse Rebecca Gaddie; and her cherished nieces and nephews, Zander, Tegan, Monty Dehoyos, Gavin, Ketin, Penelope, Nehemiah, Harper, Zaine, and Ellie Gaddie.
Tonya was predeceased by her father, Randy Ray Gaddie; her brother, Randy William Ray Gaddie; her grandparents, Gwen and Jerry Stover, Billy and Shirley Gaddie, and Gilbert Reed; and her aunts, Tommie ‘JoJo’ Dotson Reed and Cammy A. Reed.
