David Aaron Woolsey, 80, of Whitesboro, Texas went to be with his Lord and savior on August 8, 2024.

David was born on July 19, 1944 at Wilson & Jones Hospital in Sherman, TX to his loving parents, WJ and Dovie Woolsey. 

He was the youngest of 6 siblings. David married the love of his life Judy (Cannon) Woolsey on February 23, 1963. He was the loving father of 3 children, and Paw-Paw to several grandchildren as well as great-grandchildren.

He went to work in the oilfield at the age of 15. Later David drove a truck for Montgomery Ward, and he continued driving trucks for other companies as well as owning several of his own trucks until he was well into his sixties. 

David proudly called himself a traveling evangelist, and went by the CB handle of Guardian-Angel. 

He often stated that driving a truck is what he does for a living but spreading the word of God was his mission. 

He spent an untold amount of time on the CB delivering God’s message and led countless souls to Christ.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Whitesboro on Monday, August 19th, at 7pm.
