William Ralph (Peck) Pearson
William Ralph (Peck) Pearson, formerly from Whitesboro, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2024, at age 95.
Peck was born on August 4, 1928, to Timothy and Cora Pearson in Celeste, Texas. He is survived by three daughters: Neva Evans of Yukon, Oklahoma; Jo Emberton and husband Tom of Denton; and Susan Fletcher and husband Mickey of Wylie, Texas.
Grandchildren include Dale Dumas, Deanna Morris and husband Brad, Vicky Evans, Felicia Weaver and husband Ben, Brett Cason and wife Gina, Angela Clem and husband James, Brandon Emberton and wife Kristy, Rebecca Storey and husband Shawn, Michael Fletcher, Amanda Fisher and husband Caleb, and Jeffrey Fletcher. Peck also had numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lala Pearson, parents Timothy and Cora Pearson, and sisters Dorothy Pearson and Claudia Brewer.
Peck’s love of horses led him to work on ranches for many years until he retired in Whitesboro.
He enjoyed ranching, country music and dancing.
He resided at Pleasant Valley nursing home in Garland for the past three years where he was affectionately known as “Cowboy” and loved by staff as well as other residents.
Graveside service will be at Hibbit Baptist Church Cemetery (5159 CR 115, Whitesboro, Texas 76273) Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Hibbit Baptist Church Cemetery for maintenance of the cemetery. Mail to 1701 E FM 922, Valley View, T 76272.
