Morris S. Peregrine, 90, of Whitesboro, Texas was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Morris was born on April 8, 1934 to Seaman and Bertha (Morris) Peregrine.  He married Lois Marie Huffman on October 6, 1958 in Clayton, New Mexico and they were married for 62 years prior to her passing in 2020. Morris served proudly in the United States Army serving our country during the Korean War.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening.

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Speir and husband, Jason; grandchildren, Travis Phelps and wife, Amy, Sarah Andrews, Justin Speir, and James Speir, nine great-grandchildren, sisters, Elna, Virginia, Sharon, and Fern, and brother, Richard.

Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Seaman and Bertha Peregrine, wife, Lois Peregrine, son, Ricky Peregrine and grandson, Ricky Peregrine Jr.

A memorial service honoring Morris will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at North Union Church of Christ in Whitesboro, officiated by Ryan Mangum and Mike Bentley. At this time no formal visitation is scheduled. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
