Adalphna Gregory, 88, of Whitesboro, Texas was called home to her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 13, 2024.

Adalphna was born on September 21, 1935 in Woodbine, Texas to Mack Carl and Odessa Laverne (Ranne) Harville. She married Quentin Gregory on January 23, 1955 in Whitesboro. 

Adalphna was a graduate of Whitesboro High School class of 1954. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, working in her flower beds, feeding the blue birds and raising fish in her aquarium. Adalphna loved her family and cherished the time spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Odessa Harville; her beloved husband, Quentin Gregory; and her brother, Billy Zane Harville.

Adalphna is survived by her sons, Matt Gregory and wife, Laura of Jacksboro; Mark 
Gregory and wife, Beth of Marlow, Oklahoma; and Glen Gregory and wife, Renee of Gainesville; daughter, Cheryl Bownds and husband Sam of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Brian, Callie, Emily, Kate, Grant, Grayson, Evan and Anthony, as well as seven great-grandchildren.

A private family graveside service honoring Adalphna was held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, officiated by Michael George. At this time there is no formal visitation scheduled.
