Kathleen J. Hess, 77, passed away Tuesday April 23, 2024, surrounded by family.  

Kathy was born August 24, 1946, in Napa, CA to Bob & Josephine Brock.  She graduated from Salem High School in Salem, OR.  Shortly after, she married the love of her life, James Hess, on June 19, 1965.  Together they had two children, two granddaughters, and three great-grandchildren, which were all the joys of her life.  

Kathy always made a point to keep her extended family and friends close throughout the years.  Kathy never knew a stranger.  Kathy also enjoyed tennis and gardening.  To say she will be missed is an understatement.

Left to carry her memory is her beloved husband of almost 59 years, James Hess; her children: James “Jimmy” Hess, Shelley and Brandon Dunn; grandchildren Lindsay and Thom Noble, Jacquie and Jeremiah Luttmer; great-grandchildren: Nathan, Wesley and Brianna Luttmer.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Josephine Brock, and brother Michael Brock.
 
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at FBC Collinsville, TX, with Trent Hodgkinson officiating.
