Toni Gene Keller, 82, of Whitesboro, Texas, was called to her glorious reunion with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
Toni was born on December 14, 1941 in Sherman, Texas to J.C. and Wilma Gene (Miller) Hodgkiss. She was a graduate of Sherman ISD and a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitesboro.
Toni was a member of PEO Chapter A, the first PEO Chapter in the state of Texas. She married Jim Keller on June 2, 1960 in Sherman and together they raised four sons and built a life for themselves centered around the Lord, the church, and their children.
She loved nurturing and caring for her family and their home, tending the gardens and cooking for her growing family.
Her greatest joy in life was sharing the word of Jesus and caring for her children and grandchildren. She spent many hours traveling to watch them all play in the various sports and activities they were in with their schools.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Keller of Whitesboro; son, Barry Keller and wife, Kathy of Whitesboro; son, Eric Keller and wife, Sandy of Whitesboro; son, Sid Keller and wife, Jennifer of Corinth; son, Clay Keller and wife, Amy of Whitesboro; grandchildren, Callie Keller, Caleb Keller, Cody Keller, Nathan Keller, Ethan Keller, Brayden Keller, Jackson Keller, Grover Hood, Avery Hood, Clara Hood, Joriee Seykora, Joseph Clay Keller, Jemma Keller, Josie Keller; great-grandchildren, Lexi Gallo, and Jackson Gallo; as well as numerous cousins and other loving family and friends.
Toni was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Wilma Hodgkiss, and brother, Jimmy D. Hodgkiss.
Funeral services honoring Toni will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Rick Carney. A time of visitation for family and friends was held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
