Rebecca “Becca” Sue Ward, 69, of Callisburg, Texas, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, February 22, 2024 while surrounded by her loving family. 

Rebecca was born July 18, 1954 in Sherman, Texas to John Benjamin Logue and Julia Ann (Reynolds) Logue. 

She was raised in Callisburg, Texas and attended Callisburg schools. She worked in the meat market at Safeway and Tom Thumb for more than 30 years. She loved her community and was a faithful member of Hibbit Baptist Church. 

Becca enjoyed gardening, canning, and raising chickens. She was an avid reader, and when driving by, could often be seen sitting on the porch with a good book. She loved spending time at Lake Texoma with her family. 

She was a bargain hunter and couldn’t pass up a good garage sale or thrift shop. She especially liked the annual Highway 82 garage sale that stretches all across North Texas. 
Spending time with her family, and especially her grandchildren is what meant the most to her. 

Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents, John Benjamin and Julia Logue, and her brother, Johnny Logue. She leaves behind her son Jeff Holt and wife Kristy of Gainesville; daughter Destiny Ward and Chris Salinas of Sherman; daughter Autumn Davis and husband Matt of Callisburg; grandchildren Aaron, Alexandria, Paisley, Delaynee, Yvy, and Wyatt; sister Linda (Logue) Matas and husband Ramiro; brother Dale Logue and wife Cindy; cousins Kathy, Rhonda, and Doug; and many other beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hibbit Baptist Church on Saturday, March 2 beginning at 11 a.m.
