It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lee Edward Adams, 59, of Whitesboro, Texas, who peacefully departed this life on December 23, 2024, following a courageous three-year battle with cancer.

A devout man of faith, he was a loving father, devoted grandfather and cherished sibling. 

Lee was known to many as a compassionate, hardworking and joyful person, always willing to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. 

His generosity and unwavering spirit touched countless lives, never missing an opportunity to offer guidance or a word of encouragement to those around him.

Lee is survived by his daughter, Jessica Cheatham of Whitesboro; his son, Lee E. Adams Jr. of Whitesboro; and his beloved grandchildren, Matthew and Aliyah. 

He is also survived by his mother, Martha Adams of Sanger, Texas; his siblings, Shelli and Curtis Sweeten of Gainesville, Texas; Dee Dee (Konnie) Raynor of Whitesboro, Texas; Shawn Adams of Sanger, Texas; and a host of extended family and friends. 

Lee’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, leaving behind a lasting legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

Lee was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy DeWitt Adams.

A memorial service to celebrate Lee’s life will be held on January 18, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Denton 
Apostolic Fellowship Church at 2801 N. Bonnie Brae St., Denton, Texas 76207. 

While the family greatly appreciates the love and support, in lieu of flowers, they kindly request donations to help with funeral expenses.
