This holiday season, the Whitesboro Public Library will offer a variety of events to get the community in the holiday spirit.
First, from Monday, Nov. 24 through Monday, Dec. 16, the library will be an official drop-off location for letters to Santa. Area citizens are encouraged to write their letters to Santa and put them in the Santa mailbox at the library. Library staff will ensure that the man in red receives his mail in time for Christmas gift requests.
Next, on Thursday, Dec. 12, the library will celebrate National Gingerbread House Day with a fun activity. From 11 a.m.-noon, young patrons are welcome to come and decorate a gingerbread house at the library. While this event is free, space is limited, so attendees are encouraged to sign up ahead of time by calling 903-564-5432.
Then, Monday, Dec. 16 at 10 a.m., patrons are invited to attend Cookies with Santa (and special guest). This will be a great photo opportunity, so be sure to bring cameras and capture some fun holiday memories.
Come experience the joy and magic of the holiday season at the Whitesboro Public Library.
