Grayson County early voting for the general election began last Monday. The last day for early voting is Friday, Nov. 1. Election Day is Nov. 5.
Early voting locations in this area include:
• Whitesboro City Hall (111 W. Main Street)
• Grayson County Sub-Courthouse in Denison (101 W. Woodard in the JP courtroom)
• Grayson College Main Campus in Denison (6101 Grayson Dr. in the SAB training room)
• Election Administration in Sherman (115 W. Houston)
• Texoma Council of Governments in Sherman (1117 Gallagher Dr. in the Eisenhower room)
Hours for early voting are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
“Voter turnout has been exceptional,” one Whitesboro polling worker said. “We’ve seen a lot of new voters, which is exciting.”
The Whitesboro City Hall voting location rarely has a wait, and it offers curbside voting. Voters are encouraged to review their ballots carefully before final submission.
Also, according to state law, voters may not use wireless communication devices within 100 feet of voting stations. This includes cell phones, cameras and any recording devices.
