Bearcats fall to Palmer
The Whitesboro Bearcat varsity football team fell to Palmer 41-33 Friday night in district action at home.
Sophomore quarterback Colt Fagan went 13-of-25 passing for 213 yards and a touchdown.
He also had 11 carries for 46 yards and another score.
Brayden Bomar had seven catches for 110 yards.
Camden Stephens had two catches for 58 yards and a score.
He also scored on the ground.
Levi Weddel had 12 carries for 30 yards and a touchdown.
Mason Scarbrough had six carries for 50 yards and three catches for 23 yards.
The loss took Whitesboro to 4-3 on the year and 2-1 in district play.
They travel to Dallas A+ Academy tonight.

Pirates knock-out Lindsay
The Collinsville Pirate varsity football team rolled to 7-0 on the year Friday night with a 55-21 district win over Lindsay at home.
Senior Pirate running back Garrett Trevino rushed for 116 yards and four touchdowns on 17 carries.
For good measure, he contributed a 58-yard touchdown pass.
Chad Davidson had three catches for 110 yards and a TD.
Cash Morgan had four catches for 69 yards and a score. 
Brandon Cantu had five carries for 44 yards and a score. 
Sophomore quarterback J.J. Jenkins went 8-of-14 passing for 135 yards and a touchdown for Collinsville 
The Pirates are number one in district, number two in the state and travel to Era tonight.

Rams lose to Leonard
The S&S Ram varsity football team is still looking for their first win of the year and dropped to Leonard 55-14 Friday night at home. 
Joe Orr led the Ram production with seven catches for 219 yards and two touchdowns.
Quarterback Hunter Courville went 11-of-28 passing for 266 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Brightin McNabb had two catches for 19 yards.
Kenny Melton had nine carries for 29 yards and a 15-yard catch.
The Rams travel to Bells tonight.

Lady Cats lose to Boyd
The Whitesboro Lady Bearcat volleyball team is holding onto the fourth-place district ranking after a loss Friday night at Boyd in three sets (25-21, 25-13, 25-23).
The loss took Whitesboro  to 20-16 on the year and 4-5 in district. 
They traveled to Paradise Tuesday night. Results were not available as of press time.

Tioga tops Tom Bean
The Tioga Lady Bulldog volleyball team punched their ticket to the playoffs Friday night with a win over Tom Bean in three sets (25-8, 25-19, 25-10 ).
Kennedy Slay led the attack with 13 kills and four aces.
Kyndall Whitley had seven kills.
Kaitlyn Garrison had 10 digs and three aces.
Ella Norwood offered 17 assists to go with four aces.
They took Tioga to 20-23 on the year and 5-3 in district play. 
They hosted Collinsville on Tuesday night. Results were not available as of press time.

Lady Rams fall to Gunter
The S&S Lady Ram volleyball team lost to Gunter Friday night in three sets (25-13, 25-10, 26-6) on the road. 
They fell to 15-22 on the year and 2-8 in district play.
They traveled to Howe Tuesday. Results were not available as of press time.

Lady Pirates blank Trenton
The Collinsville Lady Pirate volleyball clinched a playoff after toppling Trenton Oct. 15 in three sets (25-19, 25-15, 25-19) on the road
The win took Collinsville to 18-18 on the year and 5-2 in district. 
They hosted Whitewright on Friday.

Lady Bulldogs rout Rebs
The Tioga Lady Bulldog volleyball team swept Sam Rayburn on Oct. 15 in three sets (25-22, 25-11, 25-23). 
Sophomore Kennedy Slay led the Tioga attack with 18 kills and four blocks.
Kyndall Whitley had 11 kills.
Ella Norwood offered 21 assists.
Kaitlyn Garrison had 17 digs for Tioga.
The win took the Bulldogs to 19-23 on the year and 4-3 in district. 
They traveled to Tom Bean on Friday.

Lady Rams fall to Blue Ridge
The S&S Lady Ram volleyball team fell to Blue Ridge Tuesday, Oct. 15 in five sets (27-25, 23-25, 16-25, 25-21, 6-15)
The loss took S&S to 15-21 on the year and 2-7 in district.
They traveled to Gunter on Friday.
