The Whitesboro Friends of the Library will host their annual book sale at the Whitesboro Public Library Saturday, Sept. 21 through Friday, Sept. 27. The sale takes place 9 a.m.-5 p.m. each day.
With the proceeds from this book sale, the Friends of the Library support several worthwhile causes in Whitesboro. These include scholarships for graduating seniors, Toys for Tots through the Fire Department, the Ministerial Alliance (which gives food baskets to families at the Christmas season) and more. The sale also helps to support the Library’s Summer Reading Program.
“The sale this year is going to be massive,” Library Director Lara Blair said. “We have received so many good donations, I suspect you will be able to find something for everyone.”
The book sale takes place in the parking lot in front of the library, beneath a canopy. All books will be $1 and under. Come out and get some great deals. Library staff looks forward to seeing everyone at the library.
