The Whitesboro Elementary PTO (Parent/Teacher Organization) will host a Volunteer Information Night on Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
This come-and-go event held at the Hayes Primary School Cafeteria is an opportunity for community members to come and learn about opportunities to become involved at Hayes Primary and Whitesboro Intermediate Schools.
The PTO has several needs for volunteers, ranging from helping make copies at the schools to reading to students in the classroom.
“We have a lot of great opportunities this year to help both in and out of the schools,” PTO President Jessica Edwards said. “Volunteering doesn’t have to be a huge time commitment.
Whether you can give just one hour or multiple days, we’ll take all the help we can get. Many hands make light work.”
