North Texas Medical Center (NTMC) will host another free Diabetes Education Program on Thursday, Sept. 12. The class will be held at noon in the NTMC classrooms.
This program is designed for adults who have diabetes, or caregivers of a diabetic patient, who want more information on ways to manage the disease. Attendees will learn how to develop a healthy eating and activity plan that works best for them. They will receive tips on medication and reducing risks for short- and long-term complications.
Even though the class is free, attendees are asked to register from the hospital’s website at ntmconline.net and click on Classes and Events on the top menu.
