Meet the Bearcats is an annual community-wide pep rally that enables the Whitesboro ISD to introduce its student athletes to the community. Businesses and organizations give out free items from booths, the Whitesboro Marching Band performs and the Athletics Booster Club held a few drawings for prizes ranging from a Yeti cooler to reserved parking at home football games. This year’s event was held on Wednesday, Aug. 14 and included athletes of all ages. It was a great way to kick off the new school year.
