Recognizing real-life heroes...
Area first responders were honored by the Tioga Council at their regular meeting on Monday, Aug. 12. They were given the “Life Saver Award” for their response to a medical call in Tioga on July 4. Their quick response saved a man’s life. Those honored were, from left, Deputy Chief Jerry Carnes EMT-B, Officer Kevin Whitley EMT-P, Logan Moore EMT-B, Julia Parker EMT-B, Brad Conway EMT-P, Ellen Watkins EMT-P and Chief Richard Hartman EMT-B.
