Monday night, WISD students attended Meet the Teacher events at their respective schools. The evening gives youth and their families a chance to find their classrooms, meet their teachers, drop off school supplies and get the lay of the land for the first day of school. Excitement was high as students reunited with friends and learned who their classmates will be for the coming school year. First day of school for Whitesboro ISD, S&S CISD and Collinsville ISD was Wednesday, Aug. 14.
