In last week’s edition of the Whitesboro News-Record we erroneously reported about a citizens’ concern at the recent Whitesboro City Council meeting. We reported that a resident presented his concern of trucks breaking down in town.
The resident’s concern was about the use of engine brakes on 18-wheelers, not trucks breaking down. He requested an ordinance that will post signs on right-of-ways. He said the trucks are very loud and deter from quality of life.
We regret the error.
