Two Whitesboro natives graduate from Midwestern State University

Two Whitesboro students graduated from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls in Spring 2024. 

Jacob Daniel Foster graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology.

Kasie Lynn Stites graduated with a Master of Education in special education.

Midwestern State University had 678 undergraduate and graduate students in Spring 2024 with the provision that they meet all requirements as prescribed by the faculty and administration. 

Honor graduates receiving bachelor degrees included 64 summa cum laude, 74 magna cum laude, and 90 cum laude. Honor requirements are a grade point average of 3.9-4.0 for summa cum laude, 3.7-3.89 for magna cum laude, and 3.5-3.69 for cum laude. 

Additionally, four graduates earned Redwine Presidential Scholar designation, five were named Redwine Scholars, and seven earned Redwine Honors Scholar recognition.  
Sixteen students received President’s Medals.
