Locals named to collegiate Dean’s Lists

Local students were named to the Abilene Christian University Dean’s Honor Roll for the Spring 2024 semester. 

To earn Dean’s Honor Roll recognition, students must achieve a 3.6 or higher GPA while enrolled in at least 12 credit hours. 
Collinsville’s Kaitlyn Rodriguez (a senior Management major), Sadler’s Nikki Smith (a senior Child and Family Services major) and Tioga’s David Denton (a senior Biology major) all earned the honor. 

At Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, Collinsville’s Grant Stone was named to the Dean’s List of Academic Honors. The Dean’s List consists of undergraduates who have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 out of a perfect 4.0 in all work attempted while enrolled in not less than 12 semester hours. 

Meanwhile, at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), Gordonville’s Mark Lasater and Pilot Point’s Rakita Payne were both named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2024 term. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.
