Cats fall to Panthers
The Whitesboro Bearcat baseball team picked up its first loss of the year to Paradise with a 3-0 final on Friday. 
Maxx Parker, Brayden Bomar, Jacob Knight and Brayden Crockett all walked for Whitesboro. 
The loss took Whitesboro to 9-7 on the year and 3-1 in district— even with Paradise in the standings. 
They traveled to Valley View Tuesday night. Results were not available as of press time.

S&S shutdown by PP
The S&S Ram baseball team fell to Pilot Point 10-0 in five innings Friday on the road. 
Asher Zuniga and Joe Orr both singled for S&S.
Landon Lewis walked twice.
Gavin McMullan walked once.
The loss took S&S to 4-7 on the year and still searching for their first district win.

Pirates are on fire 
The Collinsvlle Pirates posted a statement win over Tioga with a 10-0 final on Friday. 
Logan Jenkins threw a four-hitter with 12 strikeouts and three walks for the Pirates as they are marching towards another deep post season run. 
Jenkins also walked and scored twice.
Garrett Trevino was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and scored once.
Jaxon Jenkins doubled, walked, drove in two and scored twice.
Colin Barnes doubled and drove in three runs. 
Peyton Davidson doubled and drove in two runs. 
Reed Patterson walked twice and scored once. 
The win took Collinsville to 17-2 on the year and 4-0 in district. 
They hosted Ector Tuesday night. Results were not available as of press time. 
Hayden Hilliard was 2-for-2 and walked for Tioga. 
Johnny Dorpinghaus singled and walked.
Austin Norwood singled and Gage Anderson walked.
The loss took Tioga to 7-7 on the year and 2-2 in district. 
They traveled to Tom Bean Tuesday. Results were not available as of press time.

Lady Cats clip the Eagles
The Whitesboro Lady Cat softball team topped Valley View 13-2 in six innings Friday on the road. 
Bradi Gallaway went  2-for-3 with two homers, walked and drove in three runs.
Avery Howerton threw a two-hitter with an earned run, 15 strikeouts and three walks while going 2-for-4 with a double and scored three times.
Melanie Baldwin was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs. 
Olivia Hildebrand was 2-for-4 with a double, drove in a run and scored three times.
Addison McBride was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and scored.
Maci Graves was 2-for-3 with a double, drove in a run and scored twice.
Keely Hartless singled, drove in a run and scored.
The win took Whitesboro to 18-6 on the year and 6-0 in district. 
They hosted S&S Tuesday. The Lady Rams were also unbeaten in district so sole possession of first place was on the line. 
Results were not available as of press time.

Lady Rams perfect in district play 
The S&S Lady Rams softball team took care of Boyd with a 13-2 final at home Friday.
Lana Walters was 3-for-3, had four RBIs and scored four times.
Hayden Mowrey threw a two-hitter and was 2-for-3, walked, drove in four and scored.
Hayden Kight was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and scored, Makayla Adams doubled, walked twice and scored three times.
Hannah Foster singled, drove in a run and scored twice.
Tynslie Adcock walked twice, drove in a run and scored.
Saryn Dowell walked twice and scored twice.
The win took S&S to 18-4 on the year 6-0 and in district.

Tioga ladies beat Alvord
The Tioga Lady Bulldog softball team topped Alvord 6-3 Friday at home. 
Kyndall Whitley was 3-for-3 with two doubles, walked and scored twice.
Lauren Sheppard was 2-for-3 with a double, walked and drove in a run.
Ella Norwood singled, drove in two and scored.
Kennedy Slay doubled, drove in a run and scored.
Channing Hurst singled and drove in a run.
Aly Salinas singled, walked and scored once. 
The win took Tioga to 14-3 on the year and  5-1 in district. They played Muenster on Monday.

Lady Pirates beat Lindsay
The Collinsville Lady Pirate softball team topped Lindsay 13-5 Friday on the road. 
Audrey Miller was 4-for-4, walked and scored four times.
Shelby Derzapf went 4-for-5 with two doubles and scored twice.
Haidyn Bryson was 3-for-4, walked, drove in two and scored twice.
Addisyn McDonnell was 2-for-3, walked and drove in a run.
Tessa Vannoy doubled, walked, drove in two and scored.
Devyn Elvington singled and scored.
Reese Elvington singled and drove in a run for Collinsville.
The win took Collinsville to 13-8 on the year and 4-2 in district.

Bearcats run well at Pottsboro
Both Whitesboro girls and boys track teams had strong showings last week at the Pottsboro Relays.
The Lady Cats took third place with 102 team points.
They also claimed two individual titles and two relays.
Brylee Weddle won the 400 with a time of 1:01.08.
Olivia Hildebrand took first in the discus with a throw of 128 feet.
The 400 relay team of Shelby Riddle, Isabel Gabbert, La’Ney Powell and Weddle won gold with a time of 51.51 seconds.
The 1,600 relay of Riddle, Aubrey Beam, Gabbert and Weddle took first with a time of 4:12.84.
On the boys side, Whitesboro finished fourth with 105 team points.
Collin Phillips won the discus with a throw of 140 feet.

Bearcats beat Paradise
The Whitesboro High School Bearcat baseball team etched out a 4-3 win over Paradise Tuesday, March 19 at home. 
Jacob Knight landed a RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning that forced the walk-off. 
Landon Newkirk went 2-for-4 and scored once.
Max Hinsley singled and scored.
Camden Stephens walked three times and drove in a run.
The win took Whitesboro  to 9-6 on the year and 3-0 in district.  

S&S falls to Pilot Point 
The S&S Ram baseball team scored 10 runs but came out short in a 13-10 final against Pilot Point at home on Tuesday, March, 19. 
Landon Lewis went 2-for-4, walked, drove in three runs and scored once. 
Brightin McNabb was 3-for-5 and scored twice. 
Nik Rosenberry singled, walked twice, drove in three and scored once. 
Eli Nortman singled, walked twice, drove in a run and scored.
Paig Morgan singled, walked, drove in a run and scored.
Joe Orr singled, walked twice and scored twice.
Kenny Melton walked twice and scored once. 
The win took S&S  to 3-6 on the year and 0-3 in district.

C’ville tops Tioga 
The Collinsville Pirate baseball team is on a roll after topping Tioga 9-5 in the Battle of the Bridge Tuesday, March 19. 
Rylan Newman walked, drove in three and scored twice for the Pirates.
They landed four runs in the top of the sixth inning to secure the victory.
Logan Jenkins singled, walked and scored four times. 
Reed Patterson doubled, walked, drove in a run and scored.
Cash Morgan and Colin Barnes each singled and scored.
Garrett Trevino singled, walked and drove in a run.
The win took Collinsville to 16-2 on the year and 3-0 in district.
Johnny Dorpinghaus went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI for Tioga. 
Hayden Hilliard went 3-for-4 with two doubles, drove in a run and scored once. 
Gage Anderson doubled and scored.

Lady Cats blank Pilot Point
The Whitesboro Lady Cat softball blasted Pilot Point 15-0 at home on Tuesday, March 19. 
Maci Graves and Avery Howerton combined in the circle for a no-hitter.
Howerton also homered and walked.
Graves singled, drove in a run and scored twice.
Bradi Gallaway went 3-for-3 with two home runs and a double, six RBIs and scored three times.
Tylar Olsen went 2-for-2 with three RBIs and scored twice.
Addison McBride singled, walked, drove in a run and scored once. 
Keely Hartless singled, walked and scored twice.
Melanie Baldwin doubled, walked, drove in a run and scored twice.
The win took Whitesboro to 16-6 on the year and 5-0 in district.

S&S Lady Rams blast C’burg
The S&S Lady Ram softball team toppled Callisburg 16-1 in three innings Tuesday, March 19 on the road. 
Hayden Mowrey went 3-for-3 with a homer, two RBIs and scored three times for S&S.
Hannah Foster went 2-for-2 with two doubles and four RBIs.
Hayden Kight singled, walked, drove in a run and scored three times.
Saryn Dowell allowed an unearned run on three hits.
Denley Blankenship walked three times and scored three times.
Lana Walters walked twice, drove in a run and scored twice.
Tynslie Adcock and Lily Nunn each drove in a run and scored twice.
The win took S&S to 17-4 on the year and 5-0 in district play.

Lady Bulldogs beat C’ville
The Tioga Lady Bulldog softball team beat Collinsville 17-6 Tuesday, March 19 on the road. 
Channing Hurst went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, five RBIs and scored three times for Tioga. 
Kyndal Whitley was 2-for-4 with a homer, two RBIs and scored twice.
Bella Dennis was 2-for-3, walked and scored twice.
Aly Salinas was 2-for-4 with a double, drove in a run and scored.
Taffi Adams was 2-for-4, walked and scored three times.
Ainsley Denham homered, walked and drove in three.
Kaylee Evans homered and drove in two for Tioga.
The win took Tioga to 13-3 on the year and 4-1 in district. 
Tessa Vannoy singled, walked and drove in two runs for Collinsville.
Audrey Miller singled and drove in two.
Shelby Derzapf singled, walked and scored twice.
Reese Elvington singled, walked twice and scored once.
Devyn Elvington, Haidyn Bryson and Asheligh Ortowski all singled and scored.
The loss took Collinsville to 12-8 on the year and 3-2 in district.

S&S Powerlifting takes 3rd place
At the recent girls regional powerlifting meet, S&S High School was named 3rd place overall and several teammates earned top rankings:
