Collinsville Chamber set for Casino Night at annual banquet

The Collinsville Area Chamber of Commerce is set to host its Annual Membership Meeting and Banquet on Saturday, Feb. 24.

This year, the event will take place at the Madelyn Venue, 8091 Southmayd Road, Collinsville.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. for check-in and Happy Hour.

A brief business meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. with dinner immediately thereafter catered by Mia’s Pastas.

The casino gaming will open around 7 p.m. and close at 9 p.m.

“All gaming tables are for entertainment purposes only,” Chamber president Marva Worsham said.  “We will display a Silent Auction and encourage bidding from 6-9 p.m. Funds raised will be used to defray the cost of the banquet.”

Worsham said the Chamber is seeking donations of merchandise, baskets or gift cards for the auction.

“Your business will be recognized at our event with your donation, along with your business card, if provided,” Worsham said. “Your business name will be announced as the winning bidder is called to claim their purchase.”

Contact Chamber secretary Gigi Cox with any questions or to make a donation to the silent auction.

Cox can be reached at 903.815.3921 or [email protected]

Auction items can also be dropped off at Texas Homes and Land office at the corner of Main Street and 902 East in Collinsville. The deadline for auction donations is Feb. 16.

The public is invited. You do not need to be a member to come enjoy a night of Italian food, silent auction and casino games.

Tickets must be purchased by Feb. 16 and are $35 and may be bought online at Eventbrite.com.

Cox said to search “CACC Italian Night” or contact her directly.

Tables of eight are available for a discounted price of $250.

Cox said $50 worth of chips will be included with the purchase of each ticket to use while playing at the gaming tables.

“Come play Craps, Roulette, Texas Hold ‘em and Blackjack, and enjoy the fun of playing without the risk involved at a real casino,” Worsham said.

The big winner will receive $100 cash prize. Second and third place will be awarded $50 each.
