Collinsville Elementary Counselor, Katie Brock, was presented the December Rise Above Award by Superintendent Matthew Davenport. Aside from her counseling duties that help teach children behavioral, social and emotional skills, Brock is the sponsor of the KC Club and the UIL coordinator/coach at the Elementary School. She received the award in recognition of all the extra work she does for the young children in the district.
