The Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce (GACC) is thrilled to announce the artist lineup for the much-anticipated 2025 Gainesville Summer Sounds Concert Series.
This year, the chamber is bringing three unforgettable concerts to the Farmers Market, happening on the last Friday of each month from May to July, each featuring its own unique vibe.
Kicking off the series on Friday, May 30, the lively King Cabbage Brass Band will ignite the evening with their energetic New Orleans-style brass sound, setting the perfect tone for a night of celebration. They will be followed by the headlining act, the ever-popular Spazmatics, who promise an electrifying performance.
On Friday, June 27, get ready for an Americana Soul experience as the talented singer-songwriter Jame Cook takes the stage, warming up the crowd for fan favorite Josh Weathers, who will headline the night with his captivating voice and infectious energy.
Capping off the summer concert series on Friday, July 25, local gem Blackout Betty will return to mesmerize the audience, along with the highly anticipated Elevation Band, who will headline this final concert of the series.
Mark your calendars for these extraordinary musical evenings. Gather your friends and family, bring along your chairs or blankets and prepare for enchanting nights of music beneath the stars at the Farmers Market, located at 201 N Chestnut Street in Gainesville. Admission to the Gainesville Summer Sounds Concert Series is absolutely free.
Please remember that while coolers are not permitted on-site, refreshments will be available for purchase (cash only) at the pavilion. Concerts will start at 7 p.m. and wrap up by 10:30 p.m. on May 30, June 27 and July 25.
