WMS WOW Night celebrates CTE, Fine Arts students

WMS WOW Night celebrates CTE, Fine Arts students

Whitesboro Middle School will open its doors to the public on Monday, April 28 for its annual WOW (Works of Wonder) Night. From 6-7:30 p.m., families and community members are invited to attend this open house that will feature a range of projects completed by Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Fine Arts students during the school year.

A variety of displays and demonstrations will take place throughout the school at this event. Band and Choir solos and ensembles will be performing around the building. BIM (Building Information Modeling) and Tech App classrooms will be open with displays, including a demonstration of how a green screen is used for video announcements.

Career class displays will demonstrate some of the programs these students have used this year. The Art department will have an art show in the Commons with pieces created throughout the school year, and Theater students will be presenting their work as well.

A free spaghetti dinner will be served in the cafeteria during this come-and-go event. Everyone is encouraged to attend and celebrate the many skills and successes of the students within the hardworking CTE and Fine Arts departments at WMS.
