Lady Cats beat Boyd
The Whitesboro Lady Bearcat softball team beat Boyd 10-0 in five innings Friday night at home. 

Bradi Gallaway went 2-for-2 with a home run, walked, drove in three and scored twice. Avery Howerton threw a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and a walk. She also singled, walked twice, drove in a run and scored twice.

Cam Ortiz went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and scored. Tylar Olsen homered, drove in two and scored twice. Emma Parish singled, walked and scored twice. Jenna Cole singled and scored once. 

The win took Whitesboro to 13-7 on the year and 6-1 in district play. They traveled to Callisburg on Tuesday. Results were not available as of press time.

Lady Rams lash Leonard
The S&S Lady Ram softball team took care of Leonard 16-5 on Friday at home. They are still undefeated on the year and have already punched their ticket to the post season. 

Izzie Talamantes went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run, four RBIs and scored twice. 

Tynslie Adcock went 3-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and scored three times.

Brooklyn Sterling went 2-for-3 with a double, walked, drove in a run and scored twice. Lana Walters went 2-for-3 with a double, walked and scored twice.

Hayden Mowrey singled, walked, drove in two and scored twice.

Bri Fowler singled, drove in two and scored once. 

Hannah Foster doubled and scored once. 

The win took S&S to 13-0 on the year. 

They traveled to Pottsboro Tuesday night. Results were not available as of press time.

Lady Pirates lose to Whitewright
The Collinsville Lady Pirate softball team came up short to Whitewright in a 17-1 final Friday in three innings. 

Tessa Vannoy went 2-for-2 with a double and drove in a run. 

Jaydee Matlock doubled and scored once. 

Sophia Woody and Bailey Miller both singled. 

The loss took Collinsville to 4-14 on the year and 3-7 in district.

Tioga ladies topple Ector 
The Tioga Lady Bulldog softball team topped Ector 15-0 in three innings Friday night. 

Kyndall Whitley went 3-for-3 with two triples and a double, five RBIs and scored three times.

Abbie Benke threw a three-hitter. She also went 2-for-3 with a triple, three RBIs and scored once. 

Kennedy Slay went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and scored three runs.

Bella Dennis went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and scored twice.

Kaylee Evans was 2-for-2 with a double and drove in a run.

Kenzie Powers singled, walked and scored twice.

Aly Salinas doubled and drove in a run.

The win took Tioga to 13-7 and 8-2 in district.

Bearcats beaten by Lone Grove 
The Whitesboro Bearcat baseball team lost 10-0 to Lone Grove in four innings Saturday in Sulphur, Oklahoma. 

Brayden Bomar and Troy Randall both walked.

The loss took Whitesboro to 7-8 on the year.

They played Boyd on Tuesday night for sole possession of first place in District 10-3A.

Results were not available as of press time.

Bearcats, Pirates run well at Gunter
The Whitesboro Bearcat track teams had good individual finishes last week in the Gunter Relays. 

The Whitesboro ladies took third place as team with 89.33 points.

Collinsville was ninth with 14 points.

Whitesboro’s Brylee Weddle won the 400 with a time of 1:00.44. 

Abigail Allison was third in 1:01.63.

Aubrey Beam was third in the 800 meter with 2:37.31.

Collinsville’s Reese Patterson was third in the 100 meter hurdles with 17.89 seconds. Whitesboro’s Alexis Barrios Chavez finished fifth in 19.20 seconds.

Izzy Gabbert won the 300 hurdles in 48.23 seconds. 

Karen Melchor was fourth in the 1600 in 6:27.01.

Tammy Lopez was fifth in 6:28.41.

Melchor took fifth in the 3200 with 14:18.04. 

Whitesboro’s 400 meter relay took third in 51.11 seconds. 

The Lady Cats 1600 relay won with a time of 4:08.74. 

Gabbert was the runner-up in the high jump, taking a tie-breaker at four feet, eight inches. 

On the boys’ side, Whitesboro was fifth with 72.5 points.

Collinsville was seventh with 52.5 points.

Collinsville’s Isaiah Smith took third in the 800 with 2:05.97. 

Whitesboro’s Jack Hinsley was second in 110 hurdles with 18.01 seconds.

Wyatt Winchester won the 300 hurdles with a time of 42.12 seconds while Hinsley was third in 43.88 seconds. 

Collinsville’s Fernando Perez was fifth in the 1600 with 5:02.81.

Perez was also third in the 3,200 with a time of 10:57.70. 

Whitesboro’s Max Hinsley, Cameron Howard, Rhet Rudzinski and Winchester took fifth in the 400 relay with 44.76 seconds.

Howard, Max Hinsley, Brannan and Winchester took third in the 1600 relay with 3:33.11.

Collinsville earned the top two spots in the shot put. 

Russell Carney won at 49 feet, five and a half inches while Nick Cox was the runner-up at 46 feet, six inches. 

Whitesboro’s Elijah Hines was fourth at 41 feet, nine and a half inches.

Cox and Carney switched spots in the discus with Cox winning at 136 feet, two inches and Carney as the runner-up with a throw of 132 feet, eight inches.

S&S ladies slam Howe
The S&S Lady Ram softball team shutdown Howe 21-0 in five innings on March 26 at home. 

Hayden Mowrey threw a perfect game with 11 strikeouts. She also went 2-for-4, drove in a run and scored once. 

Hannah Foster went 2-for-3 with a triple, five RBIs and scored twice.

Brooklyn Sterling went 4-for-4 with three doubles, two RBIs and scored three runs.

Lana Walters went 2-for-3 with a double, walked twice, drove in three and scored three times.

Hayden Kight went 3-for-5 with a double, three RBIs and scored twice.

Tynslie Adcock tripled, walked twice, drove in two and scored three times.

Bri Fowler singled, walked four times and scored three times.

Izzie Talamantes went 2-for-5 and scored.

Lily Nunn doubled, drove in a run and scored twice.

Julia Walbom doubled, drove in a run and scored once. 

The win took S&S to 12-0 on the year.

The Whitesboro Lady Cat softball team shutout Pilot Point 10-0 March 25 in five innings at home. 

Bradi Gallaway homered, drove in four and scored twice.

Avery Howerton threw a two-hitter with nine strikeouts and no walks. She also singled, drove in a run and scored once. 

Reagan Downs went 2-for-3 with a double, drove in a run and scored twice.

Tylar Olsen homered, walked and scored twice.

Jenna Cole singled and scored once. 

Emma Parish walked and scored twice.

The win took Whitesboro to 12-7 on the year and 5-1 in district.

Lady Pirates edge Ector 
The Collinsville Lady Pirate softball team squeaked past Ector with an 8-7 win March 25 at home. 

Tessa Vannoy went 3-for-5 with three RBIs, scored twice and had three triples.

Jaydee Matlock went 4-for-5 and scored three times.

Rilee Stewart went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and scored once.

Reece Elvington went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.

Bailey Miller went 3-for-4.

Hailey Germany went 2-for-5 and scored once. 

The win took Collinsville to 4-13 on the year and 3-6 in district. 

They hosted Whitewright on Friday.

Tioga slaps Sam Rayburn
The Tioga Lady Bulldog softball team topped Sam Rayburn 10-4 on March 25 in district play on the road. 

Kyndall Whitley went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs.

Bella Dennis went 4-for-4, walked, drove in a run and scored three times.

Kenzie Powers went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBIs and scored twice.

Kennedy Slay singled, drove in a run and scored once. 

Abbie Benke allowed two earned runs on five hits with 12 strikeouts and three walks.

The win took Tioga to 12-7 on the year and 7-2 in district play.

They hosted Ector on Friday.

Collinsville beats Ector
The Collinsville Pirate baseball team topped Ector 10-1 on March 25 at home in district play.

Brandon Cantu singled, walked, drove in two and scored twice.

Paxton Davidson doubled, walked twice, was hit by a pitch and drove in three runs.

Peyton Davidson was hit three times and scored twice.

Garrett Trevino walked twice, was hit by a pitch and scored once. 

Caysen Schafer walked, was hit by a pitch and scored once. 

The win took Collinsville to 12-3 on the year and 7-0 in district play.

Tioga down to Sam Rayburn
The Tioga Bulldog baseball team lost to Sam Rayburn 10-0 March 25 on the road. 

Landon Bingham singled and walked. 

Gage Anderson, Slade Babbitt, Sam Mott and Luke Roberts all singled. 

The loss took Tioga 6-8 on the year and 1-6 in district. 

They hosted Ector on Friday.

Bearcats pound Pilot Point
The Whitesboro Bearcat baseball team extended their district record 4-0 with a 13-0 shutout of Pilot Point Friday, March 21 on the road. 

Dax Martin and Brayden Bomar combined on a two-hitter with five strikeouts and two walks.

Bomar also went 2-for-4, walked, drove in two and scored once.

Martin also walked twice, drove in a run and scored twice.

Camden Stephens went 2-for-2 with a double, walked, drove in two runs and scored three times.

Tracy Brees went 2-for-3, walked, drove in a run and scored twice.

Jacob Knight went 2-for-4 and scored twice.

Troy Randall walked twice, drove in two and scored once. 

Rhet Rudzinski singled, drove in a run and scored once.

Pirates top Tom Bean
The Collinsville Pirate baseball team topped Tom Bean 6-5 Friday, March 21 at home.

Peyton Davidson went 2-for-3 with a double and drove in a run. On the mound, he earned the win with two innings of scoreless relief.

Jaxon Jenkins singled and scored twice.

Garrett Trevino doubled and scored once. 

Caysen Schafer singled, drove in a run and scored once. 

Paxton Davidson walked and scored once. 

The win took Collinsville to 11-3 on the year and 6-0 in district play.

Trenton tames Tioga
The Tioga Bulldog baseball team came up short to Trenton with a 14-5 final March 21 at home. 

Landon Bingham tripled, walked, drove in two and scored once.

Sam Mott doubled, walked and drove in two runs. 

Gage Anderson tripled and scored twice.

Austin Norwood singled, drove in a run and scored twice.

Johnny Dorpinghaus walked twice.

The win took Tioga to 6-7 on the year and 1-5 in district play.

Rams routed by Pottsboro
The S&S Ram baseball team fell to Pottsboro 21-3 on March 21 at home. 

Brightin McNabb went 2-for-2 with a double, walked and drove in three runs. 

Eli Nortman doubled, walked twice and scored twice for the Rams. 

The loss took S&S to 4-7 on the year and 0-4 in district.
