Sundaes on Sunday...
Last Sunday, the Whitesboro band program held its annual Sundaes on Sunday concert in the Whitesboro High School cafeteria. Beginning at 6 p.m., the Maroon and Gold (at left) bands, as well as the high school band, performed a series of selections they planned to use in this week’s UIL competition. Admission was free, and ice cream sundaes were available for purchase for $1. The bands were also selling a variety of snacks and treats to help raise money for the program. The event saw a tremendous turn-out, and the cafeteria was standing room only.
