ADOPTION OF LOGAN AND NOAH BECOMES OFFICIAL

Twice as Nice could be the phrase used to describe the Double Blessing Mark and Donna Amos received on March 2, as the adoption of Logan and Noah became official.

Logan and Noah are twin four-year-olds who have been placed in the foster home of the Amos’ since June of 2003. They attend the Children’s Learning Tree and the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro.

The celebration began at the Amos’ home where Taylor Harris, WHS Bearcat Quarterback, picked up Logan and Noah in his family’s 1978 red Corvette. Upon arriving at the Middle School, the Amos family found the stage lined with Famous Amos cookie boxes and balloons. They were greeted by many friends and family members including Logan and Noah’s daycare buddies from Children’s Tree.

Master of Ceremonies Paige Harris, WMS Student Council President, opened the ceremony and introduced the Honorable Judge Nall from the 59th District Court. Judge Nall presided over the adoption procedures and was assisted by Brant Krueger, Attorney at Law.

After a reception hosted by the WMS Office staff, the Amos Family of Four traveled to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

“We have been truly blessed! We give God the glory for it all, and we thank everyone so much for their love and support,” said Mark and Donna.
