In the Feb. 7 edition of the Whitesboro News-Record, we reported that overtime pay had been frozen for City of Whitesboro employees.
According to City Administrator Phil Harris, this is not the case. Harris confirmed last week that all City employees are eligible for overtime pay if the workload calls for it. We regret the error.
In our Feb. 14 issue, a front-page story was erroneously entitled, “Whitesboro Education Foundation gala raises $33 for scholarships, grants”. The amount should have read “$33K”.
Although the correct amount was mentioned in the story, we sincerely regret the (rather ridiculous) headline error.
