Last Wednesday, Whitesboro softball star Bradi Gallaway signed a commitment letter to play ball at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. Gallaway (right) plans to major in Forensic psychology. When asked who she’d like to join her at the table while she signed her letter, without hesitation Gallaway answered that she wanted her big sister, Preslee Boyter (head softball coach at Whitesboro High School), to sit beside her. Gallaway will follow in Boyter’s footsteps by attending Louisiana Tech. “It feels like going to my home far away,” Gallaway said of the school. “I love the culture there, and everyone is so welcoming. I’m excited to get to go there. It’s been a long time coming. I’ve wanted to play ball since out of the womb. I’m feeling really grateful. It doesn’t feel like I deserve this, but I do.”
