The Whitesboro Education Foundation will host its 2025 Denim and Diamonds Winter Gala on Saturday, Feb. 8 at Mustang Creek Event Center. The gala is the organization’s fundraising event of the year.
This year’s gala will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails, and dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. During this time, guests can look over silent auction items donated by local businesses and supporters.
A live auction plus entertainment by Greg Guyman and Band will close out the evening.
The Education Foundation is made up of Whitesboro alumni and newcomers whose mission is to benefit the community. All proceeds from their Winter Gala go directly to the
Whitesboro Independent School District and help support graduating seniors through scholarships as well as teacher grants for classroom education.
The Winter Gala is a great opportunity for the community to come together to support the school district. Individual tickets or tables of 10 are available for purchase. As of press time, generous community table sponsors include Dennards, First United Bank, Holiday Auto Group, WEDCO/WIDCO, MB Electric, OK Brand Wire, Atlantic National Trust, Axtell Pharmacy, City
of Whitesboro, Domino’s, Kiwanis, First State Bank, Masonic Lodge, Trident Process Systems, Davis Water Well, Kyle Tack, 4U Credit Union and Tangled Cotton.
Registration for the event is required, as seating is limited. If attending the gala is not possible this year, the Whitesboro Education Foundation is selling Brooks & Dunn raffle tickets as another way to support the cause.
