Due to issues resulting from last week’s citywide power outage, the Whitesboro Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) and Happy Dave Blaylock will host their 17th Annual Father/Daughter Dance on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 7-9 p.m. at Whitesboro Middle School.

Girls of all ages are invited to attend with fathers, uncles, grandfathers, mentors and friends. Girls are encouraged to “Share a Dad” with a friend that does not have a date for the dance.

Admission fee at the door is $10 per couple and $5 per additional guest. Moms desiring to take photos will be welcome after 8:30 p.m.

The theme for this year’s dance is “Join Us In the Spotlight!” Pictures from previous dances can also be viewed on the Facebook site for the Whitesboro Parks and Recreation Department.

For more information, call the PARD offices at 903.564.5964 or visit the PARD website at www.whitesborotexas.com/pard.
