The Collinsville Area Chamber of Commerce elected officers among the Board of Directors at its regular monthly meeting Wednesday, Jan. 22.
They also set a date of March 22 for the Chamber Banquet
The outcome of the recent board election was entered into the minutes certifying that incumbents Coryann Johnson, Carrie Lewter and Cynthia Shelton were re-elected to the Board of
Directors by a vote of Chamber-wide membership.
Office positions were nominated, and the board was reorganized.
Incumbent President Marva Worsham unanimously retained her officer position as did Treasurer Gigi Cox.
Kimberly Sticksel was elected vice-president and Austin Lewter was elected public relations director.
Earlier in the meeting, the board accepted the resignation of Director Matt Davenport.
They then appointed Kris Ragsdale to fill Davenport’s spot on the board and elected her secretary.
Directors also approved March 22 as the date of the Collinsville Area Chamber of Commerce annual banquet.
This year’s banquet will be a casino night dinner themed “Vegas, Texas Style.”
It will be held at Ranch 82 in Whitesboro and will include casino games, a silent auction, a full meal, live music and dancing.
Tickets will be on sale in the coming weeks.
