Whitesboro’s Lisa Whitten retires after 27 years — Whitesboro Police Communications Supervisor Lisa Whitten (pictured in red) officially retired from the City on Tuesday, Jan. 21. She has been the calm voice on the other end of the emergency radio for 27 years as local crews have responded to thousands of emergency calls. She was honored Friday with a token of appreciation from the Whitesboro Fire Department.
